When I first started originating loans about 30 years ago, the initial disclosure package was only seven pages. I met all borrowers in person and completed the disclosures by hand on three-part carbonless paper. Disclosure packages now contain a minimum of 38 pages and can be intimidating for anyone wanting to finance a home, regardless of their experience. The overwhelming majority of the loans I closed when I started in the mortgage business were for first-time home buyers. I enjoyed the challenge of working on what were sometimes very difficult loans and I had the satisfaction of helping hundreds of renters become homeowners.
During my career, I have been a loan originator, a branch manager, a compliance officer and a Chief Operating Officer at four different mortgage companies. I am once again focusing my efforts on originating loans as it is the work that I enjoy most in the mortgage industry.
My extensive knowledge and experience will help both first-time home buyers and seasoned homeowners smoothly navigate the mortgage loan process. I have seen mortgage transactions from every aspect and because of this, you can be assured that I will handle your loan with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
