Fredicia Hardnett

Fredicia’ s mortgage lending career spans more than 40 years and actually stretches from the South, East and West of the United States.  Her humble beginnings in the credit department of the then Sears Roebuck & Co as a consumer credit application processor served to enhance and fuel her appetite in the financial credit arena.  After relocating to the West Coast with her then Navy husband, she worked at a major S&L as a processor of mortgage payments and subsequently moved into loan originations.  While on the West Coast she attended a community college with a study concentration in finance and accounting.  Being relocated to the East coast due to military transfer, she continued her career in mortgage financing as an originator at a time when the market rate was 18% and FHA introduced the Graduated Payment Mortgage aka GPM.  Subsequently she has developed her career and zest for learning as a mortgage loan processor and FNMA/FHLMC underwriter.  As a former branch manager and mortgage brokerage owner and operator, Fredicia continues to build her career as a talented, trustworthy and professional proficient Mortgage Banker.

Because of her vast lending background, Fredicia has assisted countless numbers of consumers in the pursuit of homeownership and has the knowledge and expertise to help each borrower structure the optimal mortgage to achieve their financial goals. Fredicia takes pleasure in taking the time needed to understand her customers’ immediate and long term goals, finding the best financial solution to achieve their objectives and working diligently to deliver a “best in class service”.  Understanding how confusing the home buying process can be she works hard to walk each client through the process in an organized and efficient manner. Fredicia resides in Southern Prince George’s County Maryland, with her Veteran husband of 44 years where they have successfully reared 4 children all of which own their own homes and they have 2 grandsons.  She and family are very active in their community and church, where Fredicia is also an instructor in their accredited Bible College, teaching Practical Financial Management.  Additionally she conducts seminars and training classes for real estate agents and consumers on various levels.  Her pastimes include walking the family German Shepherd Jacques, Zumba class, landscaping, sewing, reading and vacationing with the family.
