Early in my career I made it my goal to learn as much as possible about all aspects of the mortgage industry and pass that knowledge on to my customers. In my 25 years of loan origination and managing, I have completed thousands of mortgage transactions in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia areas.
I have lived in the Alexandria Virginia area since 1992 with my wife, and two daughters, after graduating from Frostburg State University, with a triple major in History, Political Science and Social Science. I grew up in Maryland for the majority of my life and know the entire Washington DC corridor well. I enjoy the history that region provides, I have grown up around sports and enjoy routing for the local sports teams, especially the Washington Redskins football, and Maryland Terrapin basketball. I am the third generation of Vaughan’s which have lived in the Washington DC area and am the father of two beautiful daughters.
